A colleague who emails Cortana gets help on their own calendar & timezone. External senders fall back to the default person.

Favourite meeting spots

Where Cortana suggests meeting for in-person coffee chats. She picks a spot in whatever area the person will already be that day (from their calendar); if the day's clear she uses the default spot. Keywords help her match a calendar location to an area (e.g. "marina, rove, jbr").

Each legal entity has its own TRN and files its own VAT returns. Add a company here, then file its periods under the VAT tab.

VAT — UAE return prep

Enter each period's totals; Cortana computes the VAT201 return and tracks the FTA deadline (28th of the month after the period ends). She prepares and stages — she never files. You review here, then submit on the EmaraTax portal yourself.

Delegate VAT filing

Invite a staff member to prepare and file VAT. They'll be able to sign in and use the Companies + VAT tabs only — not your other admin settings. The final EmaraTax submit still stays with a person, and they'll get the deadline reminders too.

There is no automatic submission to the FTA — that's deliberate. A VAT return is a legally binding filing, so the final submit stays with you. Cortana emails you a reminder with these figures as the deadline nears.
